Hold On
A downloadable game for Windows
Note: you can press "R" to get back to checkpoint
Hold On!
Hold On! is a short, emotional puzzle-platformer about fear, separation, and the courage to reach out.
You play as a lone protagonist trapped in a dream-like world shaped by his own emotions. Just as he is about to hold the hand of the person he loves, everything breaks.
Space collapses. Gravity fractures. And she is torn away.
What follows is a quiet but intense journey through unstable worlds. These places react to panic, hope, and frustration, just like the mind does under pressure.

Hello from the thatgamejam tester!
I think it is an interesting concept. It seems like a dream, where reality is shaped by our imagination. Also, it is a good question from a game character perspective: "who is moving the platforms? did they move because of me?". Unfortunately I got stuck in the second level at the boxes. Were they supposed to get moved using the left mouse button? Also I noticed that after, there is going to be a need for a central mouse key, which I don't have in this PC. Also, were the hands of the protagonist supposed to be blue? Or is it a Unity bug? I think you did a great job with this game!
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, the game is based on the dream, and kind off trying to overcome once fear and reaching for his love.
In second level I think you might got stuck at the part where you were supposed to use the bus to fill the hole and move forward. Seem Like I have made it little difficult :) many needed a hint to complete that puzzle.
And for the third level you indeed need the scroll wheel button to use the gravity flip feature. In order to cross the lava part.
If you were not able to complete the full game due to that here is the full walk-through video link: (You can see the ending scene/cut scene).
And yeah, the protagonist hand is supposed to be blue, and we planned a dedicated scene/cut scene for that, but due to less time and deadline approaching we had to cut off that part from the game.
